MS - Annual chapter activities
Annual Chapter Activities Presentation provides members with the opportunity to present their chapter’s program of work for the year. This competitive event consists of a presentation component where the activities are presented to the judges.

Eligibility
· FBLA membership dues are paid by 11:59 pm Eastern Time on December 1 of the current program year.
· Members may compete in an event at the State Leadership Conference (SLC) more than once if they have not previously placed in the top 10 of that event at the National Leadership Conference (NLC). If a member places in the top 10 of an event at the NLC, they are no longer eligible to compete in that event.
· Members must be registered for the SLC and pay the state conference registration fee in order to participate in competitive events.
· Members must stay in an official FBLA hotel to be eligible to compete.
· Each district may be represented by participant(s) based on the Florida FBLA scaled quota system found on the Florida FBLA website.
· Each member can only compete in one individual/team event and one chapter event (Annual Chapter Activities, Community Service Project).
Recognition
· The number of competitors will determine the number of winners. The maximum number of winners for each competitive event is 5.
Event Administration
· Pre-judged Report
• The report must be uploaded to the conference registration system by the date specified in the SLC registration packet.
• Report format must adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Reports must be keyed in the order of the questions listed below in the Report Format section.
2. The report should be no more than five (5) pages including the cover sheet and attachments.
3. Pages must be formatted to fit standard 8 ½ x 11 format.
4. Reports may be single- or double-spaced.
5. Reports must describe chapter activities that were conducted during the current school year.
6. The cover must contain the name of the event, the full name of the school, the state, and the school year (20xx-20xx).
• Report must be prepared by student members, not advisers. Local advisers should serve as consultants to ensure that the report is well organized, contains substantiated statements, and is written in a business style.
• Entry must adhere to all of the event regulations or lose points.
REPORT FORMAT
Describe the chapter’s activities.
Describe how the chapter chose these activities.
Describe the steps the chapter members used to plan the activities.
Explain and give evidence of how the activities were publicized by attaching at least one article or flyer.
You may incorporate pictures into the report.
Scoring
· The pre-judged scores will determine the winners.
· Judges must break ties. All judges’ decisions are final.
Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
· FBLA meets the criteria specified in the Americans with Disabilities Act for all competitors with accommodations submitted through the conference registration system by the registration deadline.
Penalty Points
· Competitors may be disqualified if they violate the Competitive Event Guidelines or the Honor Code.
